Fees
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends an hourly rate of $212
for psychological services. To enable families better access to our service we
charge a rate of $160 per hour. Under the “Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care
(BOiMHC) program” you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate ($83.25) for
specific psychological services. Please consult your General Practitioner
or Pediatrician for further information.
Alternatively, you may be able to claim a private health insurance rebate. Please
contact your health fund to check your eligibility. Please note, you cannot use
your private health insurance ancillary cover in conjunction with Medicare rebates
for psychology services.
Fees must be paid at the conclusion of each session. We accept credit cards, eftpos
or cash. We also have an electronic Medicare rebate facility.
Assessment
The cost of
psychometric assessment varies
according to the type of assessment. Please contact us on ph. 3482 2457 for
further information.
Cancellation policy
If you are unable to attend an appointment, it is
essential that you contact us to reschedule. Unfortunately, we are unable to
fill cancelled appointments at short notice. If we do not receive 48
hours notice of your intention to cancel, there will be a flat charge
of $40.00 to cover our costs. Please note that Medicare and
Private Health funds do not rebate for missed and cancelled appointments.
