Speech Pathologists support people to develop their skills for communicating. They assess and treat a range of concerns related to speech production, fluency, the processing and use of language, and learning.

We love helping young people to gain the communication skills needed to confidently interact with others and to carry out their day to day activities. We can assist with a range of concerns, including:

Introducing Allissa Whitehead!

We are very pleased to welcome Allissa to our service. She is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has experience assessing and treating clients with a variety of communication difficulties related to speech production, fluency, understanding and using language, and learning (e.g. literacy development). She has worked with children, adolescents and families across a variety of settings, including private practice, within schools and child care centres.

Allissa is passionate about providing intervention that is family-centred and evidence-based. She loves helping clients gain the skills needed to confidently interact with others and to carry out their day-to-day activities. Allissa is a provider of early intervention services under the Helping Children with Autism Program (HCWAP). She is also a Hanen certified speech pathologist and a trained facilitator of the More Than Words Program.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Our psychologists are very skilled in carrying out assessment and treatment with young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are providers of early intervention services under the Helping Children with Autism Program (HCWAP) through the Department of Social Services.
